Stick to rules, upgrade systems to expedite Kuwaiti citizens’ and expats' transactions

KUWAIT CITY, April 28: Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wuhaib visited the Nationality and Residency Affairs Sector, the Citizens Service Center in Ardiya, and the Residency Affairs Department in Hawally Governorate to assess the workflow and quality of services. Head of the Nationality and Residency Affairs Sector Brigadier General Fawaz Nasser Al-Roumi, along with several officials, warmly welcomed Al-Wuhaib. During the visit, Al-Wuhaib conveyed the greetings of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef to the employees, praising their efforts and underscoring the importance of teamwork, as well as adherence to the highest standards of accuracy and discipline.

He was briefed on the operational mechanisms and electronic systems in use, and their role in improving performance and raising efficiency. He also toured the reception and transaction processing sections in the center, where he reviewed the readiness of the technical and administrative staff, their compliance with regulations and instructions, and procedures followed within the service facilities. He stressed the importance of continuously improving service quality, addressing obstacles faced by clients, and raising performance levels in all sectors.

He emphasized the need to strictly abide by the regulations and procedures to ensure the highest level of accuracy and speed in processing transactions for citizens and residents. He added that the ministry remains committed to supporting digital transformation and upgrading electronic systems to expedite transaction processing and improve service quality. He also highlighted the importance of continuous performance development and achieving institutional excellence. On the other hand, Al-Roumi expressed his appreciation to the Undersecretary for his unwavering support, while commending his close follow-up of the workflow and his commitment to improve performance and services.
