‘Stick to law, be vigilant, prevent spread of corona’

KUWAIT CITY, June 3: Deputy incharge of the Kuwait National Guard, retired Lieutenant-General Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf, inspected the National Guard forces in charge of securing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sites, the Saudi embassy, the city control center ‘Umm Sadah’ and a number of ‘quarantine’ centers in line with the implementation of the Cabinet decision, to support the Ministry of Interior, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf was briefed on the workflow, procedures followed in the process, inspection devices, equipment used at the gates, the mechanism for dealing with vehicles and individuals, and the extent of commitment to implementing the tasks assigned to them in protecting these vital facilities. He stressed that the capabilities and expertise of the National Guard forces and their high level of protection and inspection is a translation of the efforts to develop the National Guard forces and provide them with the best weapons and equipment, in implementation of the goals of the National Guard’s guiding document (2025) and its motto ‘Protection and Support’.

Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf stressed the application of the law, vigilance and attention to reach the utmost caution and good dealing with citizens and residents, and promoting an honorable image of the National Guard, while adhering to all precautionary measures to prevent the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19). He pointed out that the National Guard harnesses all the capabilities necessary to upgrade the human element as the pillar of the desired development and ensure success in maintaining the security of the homeland and protecting its capabilities
