KUWAIT CITY, May 9: As the Ministry of Education gears up for the 2023/2024 endof- year exams starting May 15, educational insiders disclosed to Al-Jarida ongoing deliberations regarding the rotation of heads and members within monitoring committees overseeing twelfth-grade exams, set to commence on May 29. This is addition to tightening surveillance to curb cheating attempts and enhancing coordination with the Ministry of Interior to tackle illicit distribution of test materials. Notably, selection processes for monitoring and correction committees are underway, with applications for participation being accepted online for the first time in the history of education.

Meanwhile, primary schools are wrapping up the academic year, with vacations commencing today, though administrations will remain operational until July 1. Results for primary students are expected by the week’s end. Middle schools have concluded offschedule assessments, preparing for end-ofyear exams commencing next Wednesday, May 15, for both tenth and eleventh grades. The twelfth-grade exams are scheduled to begin on May 29, ending the scientific section on June 9 and the literary section on June 10. Results are anticipated to be announced on June 12 via a press conference led by the Minister of Education and ministry officials.
