Stationery Stores Shut Down for Pricing Violations

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 8 : The Ministry of Commerce and Industry stated today that it has increased its vigilance in conducting inspection tours and imposing fines on several stores selling school supplies for violating ministerial decisions, as identified by the commercial oversight team.

In an official statement released online, the Ministry of Commerce outlined the various violations discovered during these inspections. These violations ranged from instances where products displayed dual prices to the failure to specify the country of origin, the absence of price tags, and several other breaches.

The Ministry emphasized its ongoing commitment to conducting regular and thorough field visits to shops, parallel markets, libraries, and cooperative societies on a daily basis across all governorates to ensure strict adherence to regulations.
