LOS ANGELES, Sept 27, (Agencies): Cher has found herself embroiled in a troubling legal situation, as allegations have surfaced claiming that she orchestrated the abduction of her son, Elijah Blue Allman, in an attempt to prevent him from reconciling with his estranged wife, Marie Angela King. These shocking claims recently came to light in court documents filed by King in Los Angeles Superior Court on December 5, but have only just garnered public attention as part of the ongoing divorce proceedings between the estranged couple.

According to the court filings, King asserts that Cher enlisted the services of four individuals to forcibly remove Allman from a New York hotel room on the evening of their wedding anniversary. King recounts that, prior to the incident, she and Allman had been spending time together alone since November 18, 2022. However, on November 30, 2022, their world was upended when four unidentified individuals stormed into their hotel room and forcibly took Allman away.

One of the individuals involved allegedly conveyed to King that they had been hired by Cher herself. King further claims that, since August 2022, she has been denied any contact or visitation with Allman, who is reportedly confined to an undisclosed treatment facility without access to his phone.

In a distressing turn of events, King also states that Cher had requested her to vacate the family home in Allman's absence, with the expectation that timely support payments would facilitate her ability to secure housing. However, King alleges that she was prevented from retrieving her belongings from their primary residence and was not given the opportunity to assess their shared assets.

The next court hearing for this contentious case is scheduled for October 27 in Los Angeles. It is worth noting that Cher shares Elijah Blue Allman with her ex-husband Gregg Allman, born on July 10, 1976. Additionally, she shares a child, Chaz Bono, with her late ex-husband Sonny Bono, with whom she formed the iconic duo Sonny & Cher; Chaz Bono was born on March 4, 1969.
