Sports Authority adopts list of controls

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 31: The General Authority for Sports Management, Monday adopted to calculate the list of controls General Shield Awards that includes six sport activities – football, basketball, volleyball and handball, athletics and water games.

This came in a press statement issued by the authority following a board meeting chaired by the Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Authority Mohammed Al-Jabri and the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Authority Management Asad Taqi and members of the Board of Directors and General Manager of the Authority Hamoud Al-Shemmari and Deputy Director-General of the sports sector competitiveness, Dr Saqr Al Mulla.
