Spike in infection rate 825 newly infected, 5 deaths

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 06: Kuwait Ministry of Health reported 5 deaths and 825 cases due to COVID-19. The death toll climbed up to 804 and the infected cases to 130,463, health ministry data showed.

According to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the number of people hospitalized with the virus stands at 8,396; 115 of whom in intensive care units.
Al-Sanad added that 7,526 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hrs, with a total of 955,447 so far.
Meanwhile, some 699 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours to raise the total to 121,263, the ministry said.
