KUWAIT CITY, March 19: Kuwait reported 1,519 news coronavirus infections over past 24 hours, bringing the total to 216,586. In remarks to KUNA, the health ministry’s spokesman Dr Abdullah Al-Sanad said that eight people died due to the virus during the last 24 hours to take the death toll to 1,210. The spokesman also noted that up to 9,742 virus tests were conducted during the last hours, affirming that the total PCR tests reached 1,951,691. Earlier today, the health ministry confirmed the recovery of 1,273 people from the disease, adding that the total recoveries in the country climbed to 200,822.
