KUWAIT CITY, May 3: A recent traffic enforcement campaign conducted by the Jahra Traffic Patrols Department has resulted in 136 speeding violations and the arrest of eight juveniles driving without licenses. The operation utilized advanced radar technology to accurately monitor and record excessive speeding.

A security source stated that the campaign is part of the General Traffic Department’s broader initiative to improve traffic discipline and reduce road accidents. The crackdown was carried out in Saad Al-Abdullah, Taima, Al-Naeem, and on external roads. The source emphasized the importance of such surprise and intensified campaigns to detect violations and protect road users. He also highlighted the effectiveness of modern radar systems in capturing speed-related offenses with high precision. Drivers were urged to comply with speed limits and traffic regulations, with authorities stressing that road safety is a collective responsibility.
