Apologise, Seoul asks Turkish paper A photo of President Moon Jae-in with murder of a Filipina maid in Kuwait, in this screen grab from a Turkish TV station on Feb. 25KUWAIT CITY, March 13: Seoul has lashed out at a Turkish TV channel for mistakenly publishing the picture of South Korean President side by side the picture of a murdered Filipino maid in Kuwait whose body was found in a freezer, reports Al-Qabas daily.Although the report has been taken out and a formal letter of apology was sent to the South Korean government earlier this month, South Korea is demanding a public apology.South Korean Foreign Ministry is demanding that the channel air a public apology and provide “assurances to prevent similar accidents from happening in the future.” The Turkish Show TV channel had raised eyebrows in South Korea after it featured the photographs of President Moon Jae-in in the wrong context.
