KUWAIT CITY, March 23: The holy month of Ramadan began quietly, Thursday morning, and some schools reported an unexpectedly large absence of students in the primary and intermediate stages, and limited commitment at the secondary stage level, reports Al-Rai daily. The school administrations, which finished their preparations for the advent of the holy month, concluded that the schedule of lessons was prepared for all stages with the suspension of art, physical education and music classes, but they were shocked by the phenomenon of the collective absence.
