Somali referee Artan to officiate Zain Premier League finale

KUWAIT CITY, June 27: Somali international referee Omar Artan has arrived in Kuwait after being invited by Kuwait Football Association President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef to take charge of the decisive Zain Premier League match between Kuwait Club and Qadsia, scheduled for tomorrow in the final round of the season.

Upon his arrival, Artan was received by Somalia’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Abdullahi Mohamed Sheikh, along with Kuwait FA Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dayeen Al-Dayeen, Secretary-General Dr. Saleh Al-Majroub, Media Director Dr. Sattam Al-Suhaili, and representatives of Alshaya Group, Abdulmohsen Al-Zaben and Ahmed Al-Roudhan.

The final round of the 2025-26 Zain Premier League will also witness Kuwait Club being officially crowned champions of the season.
