KUWAIT CITY, Jan 2:  Kuwait Customs foiled an attempt to smuggle in 809 various liquor bottles into Kuwait. Customs men suspected a  40 foot container which arrived at Shuwaikh port from a Gulf country. After scanning it through a xray device it displayed liquor bottles that were hidden secretly. The team was formed to apprehend the accused, hence the container was allowed to exit. Accused were caught red handed while opening and unloading the container. They were referred to the competent authorities.
