ABU DHABI, Mar 5: The UAE Ministry of Interior authorities in Abu Dhabi confirmed that debris fell in two locations within the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi ( ICAD 2 industrial area) following the successful interception of drones by air defence systems.
According to officials, the incident resulted in minor to moderate injuries to six individuals, identified as Pakistani and Nepali nationals. Emergency teams responded promptly to the affected sites and provided necessary medical assistance.
Authorities reiterated that the drones were intercepted before reaching their intended targets, and investigations into the debris impact are ongoing.
The public has been urged to rely solely on official sources for information and to refrain from spreading rumors or unverified reports.
