Sisi receives Kuwait Speaker

KUWAIT CITY, July 14: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El- Sisi on Wednesday received Kuwait’s National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim in Ittihadia Palace. Al-Ghanim is currently on a three-day visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt. He conveyed a message from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah about bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation between the two sisterly countries in all fields. He also conveyed regards of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mesha’al Al-Ahmad Al- Jaber Al-Sabah to El-Sisi.

On the other hand, El-Sisi asked the speaker to send his regards and appreciation to the political leadership of Kuwait; stressing that he is keen on preserving the historical sisterly bond between the two nations. Speaker of Egyptian Parliament Dr HanafiAl-Jebali and Kuwaiti Ambassador to Egypt Muhammad Saleh Al-Zuwaikh attended the meeting. Meanwhile, MP Khalil Al- Saleh praised the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince to the representatives of the committee tasked to invest the money of retirees at the Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS); particularly that of making the retirees partners in investment enterprises for them to earn from such investments.
