MANAMA, July 17: Sirens were activated across Bahrain early Friday, prompting authorities to urge citizens and residents to remain calm and immediately move to the nearest safe location.

In an official alert, authorities called on the public to follow safety instructions and avoid panic as the situation developed. Residents were advised to seek shelter in the closest secure place and await further official guidance.

The warning came amid heightened regional tensions and follows a series of military developments across the Gulf. Authorities did not immediately provide details on the nature of the threat or whether any projectiles had entered Bahraini airspace.

Officials emphasized the importance of relying solely on official sources for updates and urged the public to comply with all safety directives issued by the relevant authorities.
