Sirens Across Bahrain as UAE Responds to Missile and Drone Attacks

ABU DHABI, Mar 29: Air defence systems across parts of the Gulf were activated early Sunday as multiple countries reported intercepting incoming missiles and drones, according to official statements.

In Kuwait, air defenses successfully engaged and intercepted aerial threats from 2 am onwards, the UAE’s information ministry said, indicating heightened regional alert amid ongoing hostilities at 6.00 am.

In neighboring Bahrain, sirens were sounded nationwide at 2.00 am, the interior ministry confirmed via social media, urging residents to remain cautious and follow safety instructions.

Meanwhile, authorities in the United Arab Emirates reported that air defense systems had intercepted projectiles over Dubai. The interceptions triggered loud explosions that were heard across several parts of the city, according to the Dubai Media Office.

No immediate reports of casualties or damage were released, as officials across the region continued to monitor the situation closely and urged the public to rely on verified sources for updates.
