Shrapnel Incidents Reach 403 as Kuwait Reaffirms Security Readiness

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 17: Nasser Bousleib, spokesperson for the Kuwait Ministry of Interior, announced that explosives disposal teams handled six new reports linked to falling shrapnel from recent defensive interception operations.

Speaking during a media briefing, Brigadier General Bousleib said the latest cases bring the total number of such reports since the start of the Iranian aggression to 403 incidents, highlighting the continued impact of aerial threats and countermeasures.

He also confirmed that alert sirens were activated twice in the past 24 hours, raising the cumulative number of siren activations across the country to 91 times since the escalation began.

Bousleib emphasized that the Ministry of Interior remains fully committed to maintaining national security, describing its personnel as a “vigilant eye” dedicated to protecting the homeland and ensuring stability.

He added that ministry personnel are carrying out their duties with full sincerity and responsibility, remaining steadfast in their commitment to the values of sacrifice and loyalty to Kuwait and its leadership.
