Shrapnel falls on Doha residence after missile interception; four injured

DOHA, Apr 8: The Qatar Ministry of Interior has confirmed that security authorities are responding to an incident involving debris from intercepted missiles, which landed in a residential area in the capital.

According to the statement, Qatari air defenses intercepted incoming missiles, and falling shrapnel subsequently struck a home in the Muraikh area of Doha. Four people were injured in the incident, including a child.

Authorities said emergency teams were deployed immediately to the site and that the injured were transported for medical care. Security agencies are continuing to assess the situation and ensure public safety in the affected area.
