KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: A shopkeeper in Fahaheel Market has captured footage of hooligan kids wreaking havoc in the busy marketplace, highlighting a growing problem for local merchants. In the video, a group of Arab kids armed with sticks intimidates shop owners.

The shopkeeper told reporters, “This happens almost every day. Especially during Hala February and festival holidays, it’s even worse. Our walls are covered with obscene words and signs, and we feel helpless.” He explained that merchants rarely report such incidents to authorities, fearing dismissive responses like, “They are just kids, they won’t do it again,” leaving the victims to deal with the destruction.

In a daring attempt to document the chaos, the shopkeeper filmed the kids on his mobile phone, only to be confronted and assaulted with sticks by the very hooligans he tried to expose. The incident underscores the mounting frustration and fear among shopkeepers.
