KUWAIT CITY, Jan 14: The General Administration of Traffic has announced a temporary closure on Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road at the Fifth Roundabout as part of traffic management works.

The closure will affect motorists traveling from the Salmiya area toward Jahra. Vehicles will be diverted at the King Fahd Road entrance, with traffic redirected downward toward Kuwait City or Ahmadi.

In addition, motorists coming from Ahmadi and Kuwait City via Maghrib Road will be required to shift lanes at the entrance to the Sara area.

The traffic changes will take effect from 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2026, and will remain in place for five and a half hours until 5:30 a.m.

The General Administration of Traffic said the temporary measures are necessary to facilitate the installation of traffic signs and road guidance markers. Motorists are urged to follow posted instructions and cooperate with traffic personnel to ensure smooth traffic flow during the closure period.
