Sheikh Salman lauds achievements of Kuwaiti shooters

KUWAIT CITY, April 6: President of the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Homoud Al-Sabah said the achievements made by Kuwaiti shooters refl ected the support of the political leadership to this sport. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a celebration to honor the Kuwaiti medalist shooters, he took pride in the victories made in the regional and international championships in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

The celebration was held under auspices of Sheikh Salman at Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex. Sheikh Salman, also honorary president of Kuwaiti Shooting Club, appreciated the efforts of Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi to promote the shooting sport in Kuwait.
