DUBAI, May 20: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the delegation of Al Ain FC, including the players, coaching staff, and club officials, following the team’s triumph in the 2025-2026 ADNOC Pro League season — securing the club’s 15th league title. Representatives of Al Ain’s teams that claimed multiple championships during the season also attended the reception.
Sheikh Mohamed congratulated the players, technical staff, management, board members, and supporters on the achievement, wishing continued success for sports clubs across the UAE in upcoming competitions.
During the meeting, he encouraged the players to maintain their high standards and continue building on their accomplishments, stressing that the development of an integrated sports system remains a key part of the UAE’s long-term development vision. He highlighted the importance of preparing generations of athletes capable of contributing to the nation’s future and elevating the UAE’s presence on the global sporting stage.
Members of the Al Ain delegation expressed their appreciation for the continuous support and attention Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed provides to the sports and youth sectors, noting that it has played a significant role in the advancement of Emirati sports.
The reception was attended by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
