In remarks published on the federation’s website, Sheikh Khalifa Al Khalifa and Secretary-General Saeed Zada praised Kuwait—represented by the Public Authority for Sport, the Sea Sports Club, and tournament organizing committee chairman Khaled Al-Fodari—for their significant role in embracing and promoting the sport of sailing, encouraging greater female participation, and providing all the elements necessary for the championship’s success.
Khaled Al-Fodari, Secretary-General and Chairman of the Sailing, Rowing, and Kayak Committee at the Kuwait Sea Sports Club, confirmed that preparations for the 2nd Arab Girls Sailing Championship have been completed. He noted the substantial efforts currently underway, especially with the broad participation of 45 athletes representing nine national teams. Competitions will take place in the marine area at the Sailing, Rowing, and Kayak Committee’s headquarters at Messila Beach.
