KUWAIT CITY, Feb 24: Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr Al-Sabah, President of both the Kuwaiti and Asian Swimming Federations, extended heartfelt congratulations on his own behalf and on behalf of the boards and all members of the aquatic sports community in Asia to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect him; to His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah; to His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; as well as to the government and people of Kuwait on the occasion of the National Day and the anniversaries of Independence and Liberation.

Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr highlighted that Kuwait’s sports community uses this occasion to reaffirm their loyalty to His Highness the Amir, praying for the protection of Kuwait, its leadership, and its people, and for the nation to continue to thrive as a land of security and stability under His wise guidance.

He added that this significant anniversary, filled with pride and honor, inspires all Kuwaitis to draw lessons and work toward a brighter future with determination, optimism, and unity. It also reinforces the importance of collective effort and shared vision in building a stronger Kuwait. Al-Bader emphasized that the Amir’s directives provide a clear roadmap for advancing sports in the country and achieving excellence at both national and international levels.

He further noted that His Highness’s generous support and guidance for athletes place an important responsibility on sports officials to ensure full support, remove obstacles, and implement a comprehensive plan aimed at revitalizing Kuwaiti sports, restoring its achievements, and proudly representing Kuwait in continental and global competitions.
