Sheikh Jarrah, Marco Rubio Discuss Regional Security and Bilateral Ties

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 2: Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah held a telephone conversation on Thursday with Marco Rubio to discuss the latest regional developments.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks focused on recent tensions, including Iranian actions targeting Kuwait and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, and their implications for regional and international peace and security.

The two sides also reviewed the longstanding strategic relations between Kuwait and the United States, exploring ways to further strengthen and develop cooperation between the two friendly nations.
