KUWAIT CITY, Sept 17: Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali on Tuesday resumed his weekly meetings at his Diwan in Shamiya. The Diwan hosted the first meeting after the summer vacation, with a notable attendance of sheikhs, ministers, dignitaries, members of the diplomatic corps, and businesspersons. The meeting reflected the high social and political standing of Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali, who welcomed his guests with open arms and a handshake.

The guests, in turn, congratulated him on the precious trust bestowed upon him and posed for commemorative photos. In a brief statement to the newspaper, Sheikh Hamad said: “The ministerial position is a great responsibility. I ask Almighty Allah to grant me the success to carry it out, and enable me to serve my country, Kuwait, and work for the good of its people under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah.” On the other hand, the attendees affirmed that Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali’s Diwan will continue to be a weekly meeting place, bringing together officials and the public every Tuesday evening, as well as promoting the values of communication and love among the people of Kuwait.
