Sheikh Al-Nasser honors Sheikh Duaij Khaled.

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 21: Sheikh Duaij Khaled Al-Salman Al-Sabah, head of Al-Masayel Stable, has reaffirmed his commitment to supporting horse racing at the Hunting and Equestrian Club, citing his deep passion for equestrian sports and his desire to honor the legacy of his late father, Sheikh Khaled Duaij Al-Salman Al-Sabah, and his grandfather, Sheikh Duaij Al-Salman.

The 12th race meeting saw notable successes for Al-Masayel Stable, with the horse “Siyah” claiming the cup named after the late Sheikh Khaled Duaij Al-Salman Al-Sabah, while “Al-Maqam” won the cup named in honor of the late Sheikh Duaij Al-Salman Al-Sabah.

Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Duaij said his father was among the founders of Kuwaiti equestrian sports and the Hunting and Equestrian Club, and one of the sport’s most prominent supporters. He stressed that he remains dedicated to continuing this legacy, describing Al-Masayel as a historic stable that achieved numerous landmark victories during the golden era of Kuwaiti horse racing in the 1970s.

He added that Al-Masayel’s horses were among the finest to compete on local tracks, earning widespread recognition and respect among horse owners and equestrian enthusiasts for their outstanding achievements.
