KUWAIT CITY, June 7: Kuwait Football Association Chairman Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef received the Ambassador of Mexico to Kuwait, Eduardo Patricio Haller, at the federation headquarters on Tuesday, in the presence of Secretary-General Dr. Saleh Al-Mujrab.
The meeting saw an exchange of commemorative gifts, reflecting the strong, friendly relations between Kuwait and Mexico, along with discussions on several topics of mutual interest.
Sheikh Al-Yousef is set to travel to Mexico today after receiving an invitation from FIFA President Gianni Infantino to attend the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony and the tournament’s opening match in New Mexico.
