NEW JERSEY, July 21: Kuwait Football Association (KFA) chairman Sheikh Ahmed Al-Yousef met with FIFA Secretary General Matthias Grafström and FIFA global football development chief Arsène Wenger during his attendance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final between Spain and Argentina.
The discussions focused on preparations for Wenger’s planned visit to Kuwait, where the former Arsenal manager will inspect the work being carried out at the Blue Academy, the KFA’s grassroots development programme.
Wenger praised the KFA’s efforts in nurturing young talent and its commitment to youth development through an academy that provides aspiring players with the opportunity to train and develop their skills in a suitable football environment.
