KUWAIT CITY, April 23: Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr Al-Sabah, President of the Kuwaiti and Asian Aquatics Federations, held talks with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kuwait, Yerzhan Yelekeyev, during an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in sports.

The meeting reviewed the latest developments in aquatic sports at regional and international levels, and explored ways to enhance collaboration through the exchange of technical and administrative expertise. Both sides also discussed the possibility of organizing joint training camps to help improve performance and develop national sporting talent in both countries.

They further considered coordination on hosting continental and international events, which would support Kuwait and Kazakhstan’s presence on the global sports stage, particularly in swimming, diving, and water polo.

Both parties stressed the importance of continued cooperation between sports bodies and relevant institutions, highlighting sport as a vital tool for strengthening ties between nations and supporting the growth of aquatic disciplines.
