DOHA, Jan 1: The third edition of the Arab Elite Tennis Championship marked its triumphant conclusion as Tunisian player Mohamed Aziz Doughaz claimed the competition's title. He secured victory over his Syrian counterpart, Mohamed Hazem Al-Nou, in a decisive final match held at the Khalifa International Tennis Complex in Doha, Qatar. The Tunisian emerged victorious with a 6-4, 6-2 score in two uninterrupted sets.

The championship event, graced by the presence of prominent figures such as Sheikh Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Tennis Federation, witnessed the culmination of elite tennis talent from the region. Notable attendees included Salma Al-Mawlahi, President of the Tunisian Tennis Federation, Tariq Zainal, Secretary-General of the Qatari Federation, Dr. Abdullah Abdulaziz, Secretary of the Arab Federation, and Aziz Laarraf, Vice-President of the African Federation.

Expressing immense satisfaction with the tournament's success, Sheikh Ahmed Al Jaber praised the technical, organizational, and media achievements. He acknowledged the exceptional collaboration with the Qatar Football Association, emphasizing the outstanding professionalism displayed in hosting the event.

Describing the Arab Elite Championship as a "sophisticated and interesting fraternal competitive gathering," Sheikh Al-Jaber affirmed the commitment to making it an annual tradition.

The President of the Arab Tennis Federation extended gratitude to Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Tennis Federation, Tariq Zainal, Federation's Secretary, and all board members for their unwavering support.
