Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mubarak Shooting championship for 2021/2022 wraps up

KUWAIT, Nov 27: Competitions of the late Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah shooting championship for 2021/2022 concluded on Saturday. The tournament, held at Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Fields Complex, was organized by the Kuwaiti Shooting Club. Winners of the competitions were crowned for coming first in the catgeories: pistol, rifle, bow and arrow — for both genders.

The male winners were Hamad Al-Nemshan (10 m air pistol), Ali al-Mutairi (10 m air rifle), Faisal Al-Rashidi (bow and arrow) and Abdullah Malallah (compound archery) Female winners were Sondos Al-Hamad (10 m air pistol) and Maryam Arzougi (air rifle) In a statement to reporters, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah stressed keenness of the family of the late Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mubarak to continue organizing this tournament annually, “in honor of his memory as one of Kuwait’s loyal men” and in support of the club.(KUNA)
