KUWAIT CITY, Sept 14: Police have arrested an unidentified guard of animal pen for stabbing to death an unidentified thief who had come to steal the sheep, reports Al- Anba daily.

The daily added, when a Kuwaiti informed the police, securitymen rushed to the spot and detained the shepherd for interrogation. The victim was reportedly wearing a dishdasha.

The Al-Rai daily said there were two, one was attacked and killed by the shepherd while the other escaped.

Meanwhile, customs officers at Nuwaissaib border foiled the attempt of a person to smuggle bullets, reports Al- Seyassah daily. Securitymen confiscated the bullets, arrested the smuggler and referred him to the concerned security unit at the Ministry of Interior, and then impounded the vehicle used in the smuggling operation.

A customs inspector got suspicious of the person when he reached the checkpoint so they searched his vehicle thoroughly, resulting in the discovery of 552 bullets for Showzen rifle.
