KUWAIT CITY, Jan 19: Personnel from the Ahmadi Governorate Search and Investigation Department and the Jahra Governorate Investigation Department have solved the case of “sheep theft” from the Mina Abdullah and Abdali areas.

In the first case, a security source said that Ahmadi police officers were able to arrest a young man born in 1998 after it was proven that he and others stole two sheep. He informed the accused about his two partners in the crime, a citizen born in 1993 and a woman about whom he has no information except her first name.

A security source stated that a citizen born in 1974 reported to the Abdullah and Ali Sabah Al-Salem Port police station about the theft of two heads of sheep from the farmhouse that he owned in Wafra, Kilo 7, near the fodder roundabout. He indicated that the theft occurred last September, and described the vehicle in which the theft was carried out.

Investigations revealed the accused was a young man and following his arrest, he admitted that he committed the theft along with three other people.

On the other hand, a security source told Al-Anba that Al-Jahra detectives have arrested 3 people residing in the country illegally. It was found that they had stolen 6 heads of sheep from a farmhouse in Abdali at the beginning of this month.  The three accused were arrested after identifying the vehicle used in the theft.
