LOS ANGELES, Nov 30, (Agencies): Shannen Doherty is sharing the harrowing moments from her extensive battle with cancer. After disclosing her Stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis in February 2020, the 52-year-old actress from Beverly Hills 90210 and Charmed has opened up about the profound challenges she faced following radiation treatment for a brain tumor earlier this year.

Doherty reveals the struggles she encountered after the surgery, a topic she intends to delve into on her upcoming live memoir-style podcast titled "Let's Be Clear with Shannen Doherty," scheduled to premiere on Dec 6.

Doherty shared emotional footage in June, showing herself wearing a flexible mask during a CT scan at Cedars-Sinai hospital in January, where the operation took place. Reflecting on the experience, she mentions the removal and dissection of "Bob," the name she gave to the tumor. Doherty describes it as "one of the scariest things" she has ever endured.

Post-surgery, Doherty faced challenges with her right hand, struggling to hold a glass or fork for three to four months due to the prescribed steroids to reduce brain swelling. Despite her adverse reaction to steroids, Doherty persevered through the difficulties.

The actress emphasizes her commitment to regain motor skills, recounting moments when a glass slipped through her hand, prompting her determination to overcome the setback. Doherty acknowledges the need for perseverance, dedication, and faith in navigating through such trying circumstances, stating firmly, "I'm not a quitter."
