Shakira

LOS ANGELES, April 13: Coachella's first weekend has been nothing short of electrifying, and Friday night saw an unexpected twist as Bizarrap's DJ set received a special guest appearance from none other than Shakira, igniting the crowd with anticipation for their upcoming collaboration.

The dynamic duo took the stage to perform their hits "La Fuerte" and "BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53," captivating the audience with their infectious energy.

Halfway through Bizarrap's set, Shakira made a dramatic entrance, donning a striking red-orange dress and oversized aviator sunglasses as she appeared on an elevated platform behind him. As she serenaded the crowd, the platform gradually descended, and she seamlessly transitioned from behind the decks to the forefront of the stage, engaging fans with her trademark charisma.

Taking a moment to address the audience in both Spanish and English, Shakira made a thrilling announcement about their upcoming tour, shedding light on the cryptic message she had teased earlier in the day: "La loba se viene" (the wolf is coming). Displayed on the screen behind the stage, the message was revealed to be the title of Shakira's highly anticipated "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour," coinciding with the release of her latest album featuring collaborations with Cardi B, Rauw Alejandro, Tiesto, and more.

"Finally, we're going on tour — starting here, in November!" exclaimed Shakira. "Starting here, this November, in this city! Can't wait!"

Earlier reports had hinted at Shakira's team lobbying for a headlining slot at this year's Coachella, although it was not granted. Nevertheless, her surprise appearance during Bizarrap's set demonstrated that there was no bad blood between Shakira and the festival organizers, as she delivered a show-stopping performance alongside the Argentine star.

The collaboration between Bizarrap and Shakira has been met with widespread excitement, particularly following the release of "Vol. 53," the latest installment in the YouTube series "BZRP Music Sessions," which they have previously performed at the Latin Grammys and "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

As Coachella continues into the night with Lana Del Rey headlining Friday's performances, fans eagerly anticipate Saturday's headliner, Tyler, the Creator, and the festival's grand finale featuring Doja Cat on Sunday.
