DUBAI, Aug 19: Entertainment organisers have cancelled a concert by US singer Christina Aguilera and a music festival headlined by Shakira in Abu Dhabi, as the ongoing Middle East war continues to disrupt events in the region.

The Offlimits music festival, scheduled for November with Shakira as its headline act, was called off on August 18, with organisers promising refunds to ticket holders.

"We look forward to bringing the OFFLIMITS community together again in 2027," a message on the festival website read, without stating a reason for the cancellation.
