INDIA, Jan 11: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has maintained a media silence for the past five years, broke his streak by opening up about the challenging times his family faced recently, particularly surrounding his son Aryan Khan’s legal troubles. At a media event, Shah Rukh Khan shared, “The last 4-5 years have been a bit of a ride for me and my family. I’m sure for some of you also because of Covid. Most of my films flopped.” He received a special award from CNNNews18.

Reflecting on the personal difficulties, he advised, “Be quiet, be very quiet, and work hard with dignity.” Presumably alluding to Aryan’s arrest, he added, “When you think everything is good, and still know it in your heart when everything is good, suddenly out of nowhere, whoom…life may come and hit you.”

In his optimistic style, SRK shared, “But this is a time you need to be the hopeful, happy, honest storyteller and continue doing whatever you are doing.” He concluded with a filmy touch, “And I believe in him because I believe that goodness begets goodness.”

After a challenging period, SRK made a triumphant comeback in 2023 with ‘Pathaan,’ directed by Siddharth Anand. The film marked his return to the silver screen after a four-year hiatus and became a box office hit, breaking records. Following ‘Pathaan,’ he continued his success streak with ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki,’ expressing gratitude to the filmmakers and dedicating his award to the cast and crew.

In a heartfelt message to his audience, SRK thanked them for their support, saying, “Thank you for bringing cheer to my family, my children, my loved ones, and thank you for making me the star I am, yet again.”
