KUWAIT CITY, May 4: The Meteorology Department had issued a warning about strong northwesterly winds exceeding 70 km/h, expected to trigger widespread dust storms. These conditions may reduce horizontal visibility to below 1,000 meters and, in some areas, eliminate it. The winds are also likely to cause sea waves to rise above 7 feet. Additionally, scattered showers, occasionally accompanied by thunder, are forecasted. The Department of Meteorology specified the advisory period as 8 hours, starting from 6 pm today until 2 am tomorrow.
