KUWAIT CITY, May 21: The General Traffic Department, in collaboration with several relevant authorities, conducted extensive security campaigns, recently, targeting workshops and garages in the Fahaheel Industrial Area. These efforts led to the issuance of 130 various traffic violations, impounding of 3 vehicles causing excessive noise, the disconnection of electricity to 23 workshops, and the arrest of 6 individuals for residency law violations, reports Al-Seyassah daily. During the campaign, the Ministry of Commerce issued 7 seizure reports and 4 summons reports.

The Food and Nutrition Public Authority cited 18 violations related to delivery vehicles, refrigerators, and ice cream carts. The Kuwait Municipality placed 110 stickers on abandoned vehicles and scrap that obstructed roads, issued cleanliness violations, and cited 13 workshops for advertising infractions. Additionally, they ticketed 14 abandoned vehicles and scrap pieces, and fined 12 street vendors operating in front of workshops.

The Public Authority for Industry reported 11 workshops for housing law violations and summoned 6 more for further action. The campaign was overseen by the Acting Director General of the General Traffic Department, Brigadier General Jamal Al-Foudari, the Assistant Brigadier General for Technical Affairs, Ghazi Abu Qaba, Brigadier Ashraf Al-Amir, and several leaders from the participating agencies and ministries
