KUWAIT CITY, July 18: Firefighting teams from the General Fire Force are battling two separate fires that broke out at different locations across Kuwait after the sites were struck during the latest hostile attacks carried out by Iran.

In a statement, the General Fire Force said five firefighting teams, supported by specialized units from the oil sector, were deployed to contain the blaze at the first site. In comparison, three firefighting teams responded to the second incident.

During firefighting operations at the first location, several firefighters and one worker sustained injuries. The affected personnel were evacuated from the site and transported to medical facilities for necessary treatment and emergency care.

Authorities did not immediately disclose the extent of the damage or the severity of the injuries.

The General Fire Force said emergency crews remain on the scene working to bring both fires under control and will announce further developments as more information becomes available.
