Kuwait's health ministry highlights pioneering AI initiatives in patient care at GCC event.
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 23: The Ministry of Health is set to welcome seven renowned physicians from around the world as part of its “Visiting Doctors” program in October 2026. The visiting specialists will provide consultations at several hospitals, including Al-Razi, Jaber, Al-Babtain, Ibn Sina, and Mubarak Al-Kabeer hospitals. The visiting specialists are:
■ Dr. Jamal Ali Al-Asiri from Saudi Arabia, an expert in foot and ankle orthopedic surgery, who will be available at Al-Razi Hospital from October 4 to 8.
■ Dr. Boris Turker from the UK, a specialist in robotic colorectal surgery, who will visit Jaber Hospital from October 10 to 13.
■ Dr. Nicholas Johannes Weschner from Germany, a specialist in endoscopic orthopedic deformity surgery, who will be at Al-Razi Hospital from October 10 to 14
■ German specialist in spinal endoscopy, Dr. Raed Reda Mustafa Abu Hussein, who will be available at Al-Razi Hospital from October 11 to 15.
■ Dr. Mustafa Hamdi from Belgium, an expert in plastic and burn surgery, who will visit Al-Babtain Hospital from October 20 to 25.
■ Dr. John Beo-Hong from South Korea, a specialist in microsurgery, plastic surgery, and lymphedema treatment, who will visit Ibn Sina Hospital from October 24 to 28.
■ Dr. Omar Adel Rahim, a urology specialist from the United States, who will be at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital from October 28 to 31. The Ministry of Health said further details about the visiting doctors and appointment scheduling are available through the Salem app and the unified government application Sahel.
