KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7: In an unusual incident, an unidentified motorist intentionally frequented a gas station in the Maidan Hawalli area using the same vehicle on 12 occasions, the most recent being on November 30. Each time, he approached the attendant, requesting to know something about his car’s license plate, and fled after filling the tank with petrol, reports Al-Rai daily. Furthermore, the surveillance cameras, documenting the suspect’s actions have been appended to the case file.
According to a security source, a concerned citizen, acting as the representative of the aggrieved company, has filed a report about the fuel theft by an unknown individual driving a blue vehicle and provided the relevant details. The source elaborated saying the accused during the 12 visits to the station is said to have stolen fuel worth 45 dinars.
