KUWAIT CITY, Sept 30: Music made them see, move, and rejoice. It lit up their hearts, and they fell in love with it, playing and discovering new horizons within it. They became the most important musical group in the Arab world. With this in mind, “Al-Jaberiya Al-Hurra” for Artistic Production took the initiative to celebrate the iconic “Miami band’, which holds cherished memories in the hearts of its audience. They did so through a five-day musical extravaganza titled “Fikum Tarab,” a fusion of singing, performance, cutting-edge production techniques, and theatrical decorations on a global level. This event is set to conclude on the 2nd of October at the “Kuwait Arena,” ensuring a unique and thrilling experience for the audience. The venue, located in the 360 Mall, is one of the most renowned artistic facilities in Kuwait and the Gulf.

Two days ago on Wednesday, a special performance took place, attended by thousands of spectators, along with numerous artists, media personalities, and celebrities. They experienced a remarkable artistic show, unlike any other in the Arab world. The talented team, composed of Kuwaiti and British talents, under the direction of Jassem Al-Qamis and Mariam Al-Khattrash, along with the distinctive organization synonymous with “Arena” concerts, contributed to the success of this event.

Regarding the performance itself, the stage was designed uniquely and innovatively to suit this mesmerizing show. The two stars of “Miami,” Khalid Al-Randi and Mishaal Leili, performed to an enthusiastic audience. The third member of the group, Tariq Mohammed, was absent, but he was warmly welcomed by the audience. They were accompanied by a large orchestra led by Maestro Khalid Nouri and a significant number of performers. The performance featured various beautifully presented segments. Before each song, Khalid and Mishaal engaged in recorded conversations segmented into topics. They discussed the band’s journey, the concept behind its formation, their first earnings (which amounted to 50 Kuwaiti Dinars), the naming of the group as “Miami” (despite Mishaal’s attempt to change it to “Al-Anwar”), and their partnership with the “Bozyd Boon” production company, which produced their first albums. They also highlighted the significant influence of the renowned lyricist Ahmed Al-Sharqawi on their career. Khalid and Mishaal spoke about their lifelong passion for singing and musical instruments since childhood, as well as the roles of their families in their artistic journeys. They mentioned their visit to Egypt and their performance in the Egyptian dialect.

They reminisced about recording some of their songs in India and shared many other exciting memories, which the audience enjoyed and applauded due to Khalid and Mishaal’s entertaining storytelling style. Throughout the conversation, “Miami” presented some of their most famous songs in a visually pleasing tableau format, enhanced by the agility and beauty of the performers’ movements and the stage’s lighting and sound effects. All these factors contributed to the outstanding success of the show, thanks in no small part to the tremendous effort put in by Ali Al-Nisf, the CEO and founding partner of “Al-Jaberiya Al-Hurra” company, along with his dedicated team of talented young professionals. Additionally, the band’s manager, Saleh Al-Abdulsalam, played a significant role in the event’s success.

During the concert, the “Miami” stars performed some of their greatest hits, including “Sabouha,” “Gharamak Shay’un ‘Ajeep,” “Beyda w Souda,” “Fikum Tarab,” “Qasi Zaman,” “Shlon Ansak,” their collaboration with the Bahraini “Al-Ikhwa” band on “Man Li Ghairek,” “Aashoo,” the Egyptian song “Habibi Qaali,” followed by “Ya Amri Ana,” and concluded with “Ya Helokom.” The curtain fell on a musical event like no other witnessed by the audience before.
