Senior officer of MOI files complaint against State Security police for kidnapping and torture

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 30 A senior officer of the Ministry of Interior has filed a complaint with the Public Prosecution, accusing the State Security police of kidnapping and physically torturing him. The officer in his complaint mentioned he was held for a day-and-a-half in what he called a ‘cold room’, there was no chair and he had to sleep on the floor throughout his detention in a very cold atmosphere. The officer also noted in his complaint that in addition to the torture he was subjected to, he all kinds of insults were hurled at him during the interrogation.
