Amman, Dec 11: In the match held today at Amman International Stadium, the Kuwaiti team (Al-Kuwait Club) and the Jordanian team (Al-Wehdat) ended in a 1-1 draw, concluding the group stage of the AFC Cup. Unfortunately for Al-Kuwait club, this draw means they have lost the opportunity to qualify for the semi-finals with a total of 7 points. On the other hand, Al-Wehdat will be awaiting the outcomes of upcoming matches to determine their chances of advancing to the semi-finals, currently holding a score of 10 points, three points behind the leading Iraqi team (Al-Kahraba) with 13 points.
Fahd Al-Hajri scored the opening goal for Al-Kuwait in the 27th minute, but Al-Wehdat managed to secure an equalizer in the 90th minute through a header by their striker Bahaa Faisal. It's worth noting that in the first leg, Al-Kuwait had previously defeated Al-Wehdat with a score of 2-1.
