Securitymen roaming streets 24/7 to keep safety, security; curfew violators warned

KUWAIT CITY, April 6: Efforts being exerted by securitymen in the fight against coronavirus reflect the concepts of sacrifice, cooperation and coherence; considering the current circumstances that the country is currently experiencing, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Some of them have not seen their families for more than one month; while others dedicated themselves to maintain safety and security on the streets day and night to overcome this crisis.

We find them meeting you with a smile and checking the documents and barcodes issued by the General Department for Civil Defense for urgent cases – those who need to go out during the curfew hours.

They verify the data at checkpoints to ensure strict compliance with the curfew. They also check the IDs of investigators at inspection points to ascertain their identities.

During visits in Farwaniya, Khaitan, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Salmiya; the daily witnessed the heavy security presence in these areas and they did not see any problems on the streets and other places.

The security authorities are closely following up cases, especially those who violate the partial curfew. Security sources confirmed that security officials are roaming day and night; and some of them have not seen their families for a long time.

Sources disclosed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anas Al-Saleh and Undersecretary Lieutenant Essam Al- Nahaam issued directives to apply the law on everyone and take legal action against anyone who violates the curfew. Sources warned the ministry will not tolerate any person who violates the partial curfew.
