Securitymen nab Asian with 1,200 bottles of local and foreign liquor

KUWAIT CITY, June 15: Security operatives attached to Jahra Command apprehended an Asian expatriate for peddling in local liquor at Qasr District, Jahra. The officers monitored the bus used by the Asian in operating his illicit business and recovered 1,200 bottles of local and imported alcohol in a night raid.

He has since been referred to the concerned authority for prosecution. Meanwhile, an Arab man fell to his death from the building elevator in Salmiya, reports Al-Anba daily. When the incident was reported to the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry, a security patrol accompanied by personnel from the Technical Rescue Center rushed to the scene of the accident and referred the remains to Forensics.
