Securitymen ‘arrest’ two bedoun, seize 4-kg meth valued at KD 100,000

KUWAIT CITY, March 30: Personnel from the General Department for Drugs Control have arrested two bedoun for trafficking in drugs, reports Al-Jarida daily. The daily added, the suspects were caught red-handed while selling shabu worth KD 2,000 to an undercover police agent in Salmiya.

The daily added, the suspects attempted to escape after they sensed the presence of plainclothes police in the area. One of them even attempted to stab a police officer, but was overpowered and arrested. Securitymen then raided the home of one of the suspects in Taima, Jahra and seized four kilos of meth with a street value of KD 100,000. The contraband and the suspects have been handed over to the General Department for Drugs Control.
